Getting Style Inspiration

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit; it has been absolutely chaotic this week as I have graduated from high school and had a dance recital this pastweekend (more on all that later!). I hope everyone is doing well!

Today's blog post is all about online style blogs, fashion lines, etc.! I love these, mostly because I can draw my own style inspiration from the outfits they showcase or the fun clothing pieces they come out with. I get more fashion inspiration that way, and my style is always evolving. Here are my top 3 websites I've been loving!!

1. Love Is Apparel

Founded in 2010 by 22-year old Natalie Ogletree, Love Is Apparel is a clothing line catering to the more casually styled individual. Described as "trendy but simple and comfortable", the style focuses on those comfy casual tanks and tees we all love. Love Is Apparel is reasonably priced, and it is perfect for everyday wear. Perfect for lounging in, perfect for an all day music festival, perfect for running errands, the list can go on. In addition, her clothing line caters to both men and women! I absolutely love this line and website because it is ideally great for that laid-back, beachgoer look. You can easily match the graphic tees/tanks with a pair of fun shorts or pair it up with a flowy skirt for a more boho style. The line reflects Ogletree's personal style as well, as she says it's who she is and who she relates to most. Below are some of her newest designs as well as screenshots of the website!(Thanks to Natalie!!

2. Nasty Gal
Website - www.nastygal.com

Nasty Gal is a clothing store founded by Sophia Amoruso in 2006. This website caters to the eclectic fashionista who loves mixing new and vintage pieces together to get her unique style. I love using this site when I want to spice up outfits or find inspiration for my next shopping spree. Filled with bright colors and awesome prints, it is great for experimenting with new trends and prints. Although a bit pricier than I'd like, the clothes sold on Nasty Gal are great quality and are very fashion forward. My favorite feature on their site is probably the Lookbooks! They are great for researching trending fashion pieces as well as fun ways to spice up your wardrobe. Here's some shots of the website!

3. Vagabond Youth
website: www.shopvagabondyouth.com

Founded by Youtube style star (and fellow Bruin! :D) Amy Lee, Vagabond Youth provides all the inspiration you need for those classic and vintage looks. Vagabond Youth resells vintage finds discovered in the heart of Los Angeles. Reasonably priced and cute! I absolutely love checking this site to see what they've picked up or how they're styling it in Amy's videos on Youtube. Each piece are inspected for quality, and you get it for a great deal! Check out some screenshots of the site!
