Hi Everyone!

My name is Jessi Pontillas, and I'm the creative behind The Lovely Daydreamer. Here's a little bit about myself:

I'm 24 years old, born and raised in Southern California. I graduated from UCLA back in 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Dance and a minor in Visual and Performing Arts Education. Now in post-grad, I dance with a professional streetdance company known as Versa-Style Dance Company, write on this little blog right here, mentor high school and college students, and teach dance through various community service organizations in Los Angeles.

My entire existence is fueled by coffee, and I absolutely love sweets. I have always loved fashion, beauty, and writing, and I'd like to think I've got some kind of style going on. What better way to combine all of those things than The Lovely Daydreamer? At 18 years old, I created what is now known as The Lovely Daydreamer, or TLD for short. It's a hub of lifestyle, fashion, food, and dance posts that reflect my own life.

In recent years, I've taken a dive into deciphering and understanding my own identity as a Pilipina-American and participant in streetdance culture. I am an advocate for mental health, and at the root of my current work, I focus on empowering the communities around me through dance, knowledge, and mentorship.
